Tim Leyendekker is an artist based between the Netherlands and France. He holds an MFA from the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. They have screened at major institutions and festivals worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art (New York), Centre Pompidou (Paris), the Power Plant (Toronto), International Film Festival Rotterdam, Taipei Film Festival, and Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
His debut feature, Feast (2021), was nominated for a Tiger Award in Rotterdam and received the Ivens/Loridan CNAP Award at Cinéma du Réel in Paris, among other prizes. Leyendekker also heads the film programme at WORM (Rotterdam).
At The Writer’s Kitchen, he is currently developing a screenplay for his second feature, Nacht (working title), supported by the Netherlands Film Fund.
